Q: Why Should I donate to Greenville Hospital System through Where Giving Counts?
A: Your gift is a kindness that will better the experience of patients all around GHS. You can give to any hospital or area, and you can even direct your gift as a tribute to a caregiver who made an impact in your life.

Q: How will my donation be used?
A: One hundred percent of your gift will be used exactly as you requested. Where Giving Counts is operationally funded, which means all gifts received go to the purpose or item you designate.

Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
A: Yes. All contributions to Greenville Hospital System are tax deductible in full accordance with the law.

Q: Can I make an undesignated gift to Greenville Hospital System?
A: Yes. You can make an undesignated cash gift to any area of GHS. All cash gifts are spent on the greatest current need.

Q: Can I visit Greenville Hospital System hospitals?
A: Yes, visitors who would like to learn more about philanthropic opportunities at GHS are encouraged to contact Zach Price at zprice@ghs.org to learn more and schedule a tour of an area.

Q: Is Greenville Hospital System a not-for-profit organization?
A: Greenville Hospital System is a registered not-for-profit organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of Internal Revenue Code. Our federal employer tax ID number is 57-6007863.

A: Yes. Your information is protected by a 128 bit secure socket layer (SSL) encryption certificate that is issued by one of the nation’s leading online security authorities.

Q: Can I make a donation and pay by check?
A: Yes. If you are interested in making a gift by check to the Where Giving Counts, please make it payable to : Greenville Hospital System. Write "Where Giving Counts" in the memo line and mail your check to this address:
